This is something that I am drafting so feedback more than welcome. You might recognise some of the wording that I created a while ago plus some new points.
Is to become ‘digital first’ in our communications.
That digital leadership comes from the top but that we devolve responsibility to those best placed to use digital in the NAO.
All our staff should be digitally competent, understand the digital environment and feel confident working in it
All our staff can and should contribute, appropriately, to our digital channels
We will engage with our stakeholders to productively share knowledge and insights.
We focus on our known user needs: if we do not know what these needs are we will find out
To become a networked organisation and be active where our audiences are and not expect them to come to us.
We use our digital engagement lifecycle when we interact with our audiences.
We will ask for feedback online, welcome it and follow up any actions.
We create content that our users tell us they want and find useful.
All our content should be easy to find and easy to share online.
We will create content that is clear, plain, easy to read; and that is accessible for all users.
The NAO Code of Conduct applies to all our digital activities.
We will be transparent about what we do online and how we do it.
We use metrics to measure and improve what we do online.
